• DC On: Utilizes DC offset detection. The LC44i automatically powers up, along with any connected amplifiers, when it detects a DC voltage on the speaker-level input. This eliminates the need for a separate remote wire, simplifying installation, especially in vehicles with factory amplifiers that output DC offset.
• Audio Sensing: The converter also automatically turns on when it detects the presence of an audio signal (AC voltage) from the factory head unit, providing an alternative trigger mode for systems without DC offset.
